among technology stakeholders
G-STIC will facilitate the co-design and co-production of knowledge and solutions that are needed to implement the climate change agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals, by fostering collaboration among Science, Technology and Innovation communities. Technology transfer is widely recognised as an important means to enable the kind of economic and social transformation that will help achieve the ambitious goals of the Paris Agreement and the 2030 Agenda, and is therefore one of the G-STIC series’ major objectives.
But, to be successful, promoting collaboration and cooperation must go far beyond the Science, Technology and Innovation expert communities. G-STIC will therefore also invite the right mix of policy makers from national and international levels, to make technology know-how available for global policy setting.
